I’ve been enjoying my copy of The America’s Test Kitchen Healthy Family Cookbook from America’s Test Kitchen, but I don’t want to keep it all to myself – so I’m giving away a copy! To make things even sweeter, this book has been signed by Chris Kimball! I wish I could say that I had one for everyone, but I have only one copy to give away to a lucky reader. To read a full review of the book, check out this post.
To enter the contest, leave a comment with your favorite America’s Test Kitchen recipe – whether it was from Cook’s Illustrated, Cook’s Country or one of their many cookbooks – below. If you can’t choose just one, you can always try making the Everyday Cinnamon Rolls, which just might be an instant favorite as a lighter, healthier version of gooey cinnamon rolls! The contest ends tonight at midnight and the winner will be randomly selected from the entries. Don’t forget to fill in your e-mail on the comment form (it will not be public), as that is how I will contact the winner, and good luck!
Update: Comments are closed. Thanks for participating, everyone! Congrats to Debby of A Feast for the Eyes, who was chosen as the winner!

January 17, 2011I have a love/hate relationship with ATK. Everything I have made from ATK has been amazing! My husband’s new favorite food is the Italian Sunday Gravy, everyone in the family raves about it. It is delicous and easy to make. The hate part comes in because we rarely go out to eat anymore, with ATK I can do better at home.

January 17, 2011Skillet Baked Ziti. I became determined to teach myself to cook properly and got really hooked on America’s Test Kitchen at Cook’s Country. I love the show and the recipes. Skillet Baked Ziti was one of the first that I tried. I was amazed by the simplicity and the great taste. It made me realize the importance of fresh herbs in cooking. Now I’m starting my own herb garden.

January 17, 2011I’ve made nearly every recipe listed above. As a home schooling mother of six, I’m much too busy to mess with recipes that don’t work. We eat almost exclusively from scratch, so I cook all three meals a day, seven days a week, all from Cooks Illustrated, Cooks Country, and the PBS shows. I have both Internet subscriptions, plus nearly every cookbook (I even have their app on my iPhone). We love ATK! Last night for dinner we had ATK chili con carne, this morning ATK pancakes & oven bacon! Yum!

January 17, 2011their beef enchiladas are an all time favorite in our home. My 3 year old son and 2 year old daughter thought they were great as well. In fact my son was supervising me pretending to be Christopher Kimball(its his favorite show to watch with Mommy on the weekends) When he tried it for the first time he just kept shaking his head and chuckling. In his words “mmm…mmmm….mmmmmm you did a great job Mommy” doesn’t get much better than that!
