The combination of marshmallow, chocolate and graham crackers that make up a s’more is a magical one for me – and one that I just can’t get enough of in any form. I love everything from classic campfire s’mores to s’mores ice cream, and everything in between. If you’re a s’mores fan like me, you’ll definitely enjoy the recipe for my No-Bake S’mores Bars, which I’m sharing over on the Craftsy blog (it’s free)! Unlike traditional s’mores, you don’t need a campfire to make these decadent treats. They feature a no-bake graham cracker crust, a rich layer of chocolate ganache and a lightly toasted marshmallow topping. They’re just as tasty if you skip the toast on the topping, but I enjoy playing with my kitchen torch almost as much as I enjoy eating s’mores, so I usually put on that finishing touch myself.
These are a great summer treat for sharing because the can be made ahead and should be stored in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve them. Cut them into small pieces to serve a crowd or larger ones for a more indulgent dessert.
