You can eat pie any time of year, but fall is really pie season for me. It’s the time of year when apple pie seems to taste its very best and when hearty chicken pot pies are the perfect comfort food. Pies are tasty whatever filling you pile inside, and they can be fun to make and serve, as well. A new pan from Chicago Metallic that makes four individually sized pies caught my eye and so I’m giving away a Chicago Metallic Individual Pie Mold Pan – also known as a pot pie pan – to one lucky reader!

September 15, 2011for me my favorite pie would have to be peanut butter pie. We grew up in a pie town with Wicks pies down the street so I never realized how great pies were as a child but as i have grown up we love to go to their restaurant and enjoy the variety pies sweet and savory.

September 15, 2011Oh my!!! The classic chocolate cream pie!!! Reminds me of when I was a child. Getting home from school and Mom would have a chocolate cream pie in the frigerator.
It was the longest wait for dinner to be over so we could indulge. Sweet memories. To me, the classic chocolate cream pie reigns.
The pan is exquisite. The pies are beautiful.
