I’ve been enjoying my copy of Fat Witch Brownies, the cookbook from Fat Witch Bakery in New York, and wanted to take the opportunity to share it with all of you readers by giving away a copy! I wish I could say that I had one for everyone, but I have just one copy to give away to one lucky reader. September 30, 2010For me, it would be plain brownies made with just cocoa powder. Before baking, scatter lots of dark chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, white chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips over the top and bake it!!! Do not have a name for it but I’d say Quatro Chips Brownies!

September 30, 2010My favorite go-to, no fail blondie recipe is from the Williams Sonoma website. After you blend all the ingredients in a food processor you simply stir in white chocolate chips, bake ’em and voila! So simple! Unfortunately I have yet to come across a home-made brownie recipe that comes out as good as box mixes (which pains me to admit this as I think everything is far superior when made from scratch) but if I win this book maybe that will all change! 🙂

October 1, 2010A fudgy brownie, with whole pecans on top. When they are mixed into the batter, the pecans tend to get mushy, but on top, they stay nice and crunchy.
