Florist Measuring Cups

Nothing says whimsical like a Mad Hatter-esque cake at a party, but there is no reason that there shouldn’t be a little bit of whimsy in your everyday baking, as well. These Florist Measuring Cups are just right for the job. Each measure in this sweet set is shaped like a different flower and painted inside and out. They’re stoneware and very durable, despite their delicate look. You’ll notice that the edges are scalloped to create the edge of the petals and give the cups a more flower-like look. This shouldn’t cause too much difficulty when it comes to leveling off your measures, however, because there is a clear line for each measurement below the top of the flower. Use the measuring method where you scoop spoonfuls of flour (sugar, etc.) into the measuring cup to reach the indicated line with this set, don’t try to scoop the flour into the measure by dunking the cup into a big bag of flour.

This set is a little pricey, but it’s the kind of thing that you can leave out on your counter for a splash of color when you don’t have a vase full of flowers to put out. It is also the kind of thing that makes a beautiful gift for someone who likes to work in the kitchen and would appreciate the fanciful, girly look of this set.
