The days are quickly ticking by and Thanksgiving will be here before you know it. Since it’s such a big food holiday here in the US, it’s often the case that dishes must be prepped ahead of time and oven space (and time) carefully allotted to everything in advance. In honor of the planning of the holiday, I’m devoting this whole week to Thanksgiving recipes and tips, and this post will be updated daily to add new links.
Desserts usually get done in advance, so we’ll start here and work backwards:
- Pumpkin Pie with Pecan Crumble Topping
- Pumpkin Chiffon Cake
- Maple Pecan Pie
- Buttermilk Sweet Potato Pie
- Chocolate Pumpkin Pie
- Turkey Cake with Maple Glaze
- Classic Apple Pie
Breads
- Sour Cream and Green Onion Biscuits
- Buttermilk Biscuits
- Pumpkin Oatmeal Bread
- Homemade Herbed Breadsticks
- Dried Cranberry Dinner Rolls
Sides
