Pick the next Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake flavor

Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake Contest

Have you noticed that the prize for a lot of televised cooking competitions (and the bonus for a lot of food “celebrities” sponsorship deal) is to get a food item on the menu of a big chain restaurant? Even if they’re aim is ultimately more fine dining than TGI Fridays, everyone knows that this gets their recipe maximum exposure – and it definitely gets their name out there. In honor of their 30th anniversary, the Cheesecake Factory is holding a contest to create their next cheesecake flavor and getting your creation on their menu is the prize – no pre-existing TV deal required.

The Cheesecake Factory has a cheesecake-generating app on on their site that lets you pick and choose from a variety of flavors and toppings for your cheesecake. If their options aren’t fitting your vision, you can also submit additional flavors of your own. To further sell your cheesecake, CF is allowing you to upload photos, videos or anything else that you think might help to sway the judges your way – but we all know that the best flavor still has the best chance.

I’m envisioning a coffee-swirled vanilla cheesecake with a chocolate brownie crust. And, hey, if it doesn’t make it onto the menu, maybe it’ll make it onto Baking Bites!

  1. Lots of cheesecake posts today! I had a cheesecake fiasco back in November so I’ve been avoiding them but this post has got me thinking about making another attempt. Thanks for providing the inspiration!

  2. WOW!! this sounds like so much fun!! Thanks for letting us in on this :)

  3. we don’t have a cheesecake factory near us, but I did go to one and was in love with the banana cheesecake. I have tried my best to recreate it, but no luck thus far.
are you up for that challenge? lol I would love to know how they get it so thick & tall.

  4. Be forewarned, I’ve tried this twice now and it keeps locking up. boohoo :( I was able to design the cake then enter a description for it but that’s all. Also, there are a few copycats of their cheesecakes on the net. I tried the Carrot Cake years ago but I gave it away & never even got to try it. Another :(
