Keyboard waffle iron

Maybe it’s the nerd in me, but I just adore this keyboard waffle iron, which bakes up crisp waffles in what was once a traditional typewriter. The recycled, reborn appliance was created by artist/designer Chris Dimino as part of an exhibit at the School of Visual Arts. Unfortunately, this gadget isn’t for sale, so we’re stuck with more traditional models for now. Does anyone want to design a keyboard-waffle iron could actually function as a real keyboard? Assuming that everything was heatproof, that might just be a marketable product for all those who really like to eat at their desks!

That keyboard waffle iron is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Thank you for the link, I appreciate it.

This is SO COOL! I want one. I don’t care if it’s in the typewriter case or not. I don’t care if it comes with the syrup rack. I just want to make keyboard shaped waffles. Every Christmas our IT department hosts a pancake/waffle breakfast for clients. This would be so perfect!
