Chef’n Cookie Stamp

If I had to guess, I would say that more than twice as many people spend time decorating their cookies during the holidays than they do the rest of the year. Bakers who are either lazier or more pressed for time tend to opt for drop cookies or slice-n-bake doughs instead of cut out cookies that are a blank canvas crying out for decorations to turn them into edible works of art. It can be a lot of fun to decorate cookies and that is why so many of us do it during the holidays, and a gadget like the Chef’n Cookie Stamp, which makes it extremely easy to make and decorate a batch of cookies.

The sets come with multiple stamps, which are easily fitted into a round cookie cutter. You use the cutter to punch out shapes once you’ve rolled out your dough and, in the same motion, press down the stamp to imprint the dough with a design. It’s a great design because the cookie dough won’t spread and deform the design as you stamp it, so you’re left with a clearly marked cookie to bake. After baking, you can either serve the cookie as-is, or flood the stamp with icing to easily create a colorful design. The stamps are sold in three sets: Christmas, Winter and Variety (which is suitable for year-round cookie baking). All sets are dishwasher safe and include a storage container that snaps onto the cutter for keeping all the stamps together and organized when the stamp is not in use.
