Blendtec Designer Series Blender giveaway! (closed)

Blendtec Designer Series Blender
I’ve really been enjoying working with my new Blendtec Designer Series Blender, as it is a cut above the blenders that I’ve used before and is good for a lot more than just mixing up fruit smoothies. The people at Blendtec were kind enough to provide an extra Blendtec Blender for me to giveaway to one lucky reader, so now is your chance to put your entry in for a chance to win!

Of course, I wish that I could give all of you new blenders, but since that’s not in the cards right now, you’ll have to leave a comment on this post stating your favorite use for a blender. Is it making blended coffee drinks? Pureed soups? Homemade peanut butter? Blender waffles? The winner of the contest will win one Designer Series Blender furnished by Blendtec. For an extra entry into the contest, you can sign up for the Blendtec recipe newsletter, which will deliver great (and sometimes surprising) blender recipes straight to your inbox.

The contest ends Sunday night at midnight (a.k.a. 12:01am on 05/06/2013) and one winner will be randomly selected from the entries. Don’t forget to fill in your e-mail on the comment form (it will not be made public), as that is how I will contact the winner, and good luck!

Click on “Continue Reading” and scroll to the bottom of the page  to access the comment form, or simply click on the comments section at the top of the post.

Update: Comments are now closed. Congrats to reader Johnny M on winning this amazing blender!

My favorite way to use a blender is to make healthy smoothies for my kids. Sometimes it’s the only way to get my daughter to have fruit 🙂

  • Oooh, do the lucky readers include Canucks too? I’d totally use it for making nut butters, or grinding spelt berries for baking

I use my cheap Walamrt blender for just about anything. I’m surprised it hasn’t died yet. I like to start my mornings with blended iced coffee or tea drinks. And also to sometimes freak my mom out by throwing everything on my dinner in the blender. Mashed potatoes, salmon, corn and a nice dark stout makes a horrible smoothie fyi

Well, I do make a lot of smoothies. But I love using a blender to make mashed cauliflower. Half gets roughly mashed, the other half gets creamed in the blender. Add vegenaise, salt and pepper and devour!

Blender, whole wheat pancakes…healthy and delicious. The blender cracks the wheat and then mixes up the batter. Yummm

I love to make my own vinaigrettes and salad dressings using a blender. A blender makes recipes requiring 4-minute eggs so easy!

I just recently was given a blender. I have been making some simple smoothies. I recently signed up to Blendtec newsletter and I believe that I am going to expand my blender experiences to include soups.

I’ve been eying the Blendtec blenders at Costco and I love how you can use the whole vegetable to make a smoothie. This would be great for my smoothie-loving, vegetable-hating kids, so that is what I would probably use it for the most. But that is just the beginning. The great thing about these blenders is that they can do so much more and I would love the opportunity to explore those options!

Green Smoothies! Sometimes they taste great and sometimes…well, not so much, but they are always healthy! And a great blender is required. There is nothing worse then pulpy spinach in my strawberry banana smoothie.
