Tulip Springform Pans

Posted on

Tulip Pans
A springform pan is a cake pan with removable sides. It is most often used to make delicate cakes that can’t easily be flipped out of a regular pan, such as cheesecakes and souffle cakes, though you can use it for baking any type of cake.  These Tulip Springform Pans are another example of a place where a springform wall can come in handy – and not because you have to bake delicate cakes in them, but because the pans have an unusual shape. The pans are shaped like tulips, and those additional corners can make the pan difficult to line with parchment paper and give a cake a few extra places to stick when you are trying to get it out of the pan. With the springform, you can easily slide off the wall of the pan and preserve the lovely tulip shapes of the cake without worry. The pans can be used just as easily for regular cakes as they can for cheesecakes or pies, so you’re not limited in what you can make with them, either. The pans can also be used year-round, even though they are perfect for spring celebrations. They’re sold in a set of three and each 4-inch cake should be big enough to serve two people

Those are adorable, my only concern is sometimes I feel the odd shaped springform pans would warp faster than the regular circles do with baking and washing.

Hopefully these last, also wish they came in a set of 4. Really cute find though, thanks!
