There were some great entries to the Holiday Cookie Contest this year, everything from a Harry Potter-themed gingerbread house to a tray of people cookies baked by a gingerbread man! I want to give a big thank you to my judges, who had a tough time picking out the winners, and an even bigger thank you to everyone who participated in the contest, posting photos of their fantastic – and, no doubt, delicious – gingerbread creations.
So, without further ado, I will present the two winning photos. The top photo is by Beth, of Delicious Inspiration and the bottom photo is by Lora, of Diary of a Mad Hausfrau. You didn’t need to be a blogger to win, of course, but since both of the winners were bloggers this year, I couldn’t resist sharing the links to their sites.
We also have a bonus winner, randomly selected to level the playing field a bit and give everyone a chance to win. So, congrats to Meghan of You’re Gonna Bake It After All for being our final winner! Although she was the “random” winner, her entries were still lovely.
Take a minute to peruse the whole gallery, and check out some of the links to the recipes of the submissions, too. Thanks again to everyone for participating, and I look forward to another round of this contest next holiday season!
