I am a big fan of Amyville‘s sweet cupcake necklaces (I have a vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting one) and all of their foodie earrings, but just as with regular sweets, sometimes it’s nice to have some variety and take a look at some of the other options out there. I recently came across a Cupcake Pan Necklace that would be a perfect gift for someone who loves to bake. The necklace features a 6-cup cupcake tin with three perfectly frosted cupcakes inside of it. It dangles from an 18-inch chain. Unlike the Amyville necklaces, which are sculpted by hand from resin, these are made with plastic miniatures.
I found this necklace on Etsy, which means that supplies are very limited. Fortunately, I was able to spot a couple other cupcake related neckaces of similar design, too. This one features the same cupcake tin and includes a pastry piping bag, as well. This one has a cupcake tin, cupcake and cookbook, all with antiqued gold finishes.

May 5, 2009It’s cute – the base miniature is made by a company called Re-Ment. They have a large variety of miniature food, drink, and everyday objects. I believe they’re primarily sold in Japan.
Here, you can find them easily on eBay, or on a doll site that sells ball-jointed dolls, like DenverDoll Emporium.
