March 23, 2005I don’t quite understand. Salad? Whaddya mean? Like that’s it?
Is this all there is? Salad?
Poor little wrapped meat all alone in the fridge, waiting for the searing grilly love. Showing favoritism towards one food group could very well lead to nasty unrest in your fridge. Good thing the veggies have their own drawers down below. They’re going to need the protection. Are the drawer tops clear? Or solid? Cause the upset meat could make scary faces at the lettuce and turn it brown prematurely. It’s all about synergism baby.

March 23, 2005Thanks, Ana. I love using fruit in salads. Everything looks so colorful!
And Biggles, didn’t you ever watch Popeye? Poor, defenseless lettuce may not be able to stand up to meat, but spinach can handle itself. That’s why I use spinach in my salads: it keeps everything else in line.
