Margaritas are a crowd pleasing cocktail, whether you’re enjoying them with friends at your favorite Mexican restaurant or mixing up a pitcher to enjoy at a backyard cookout. A good margarita is simple – made with just tequila, lime, sugar and orange liqueur – and flavorful, but can be hard to get a good one because it is easy to mess up that simple formula. Over on the Craftsy blog (it’s free!), I’m sharing tips on How to Make the Perfect Margarita. I share recipes for classic lime margaritas served on the rocks and blended, as well as tips on how to pick out the perfect tequila. I usually prefer my margaritas to be on the rocks, but blended margaritas are usually better for parties because they are quick and easy to make. My recipe for a blended margarita is smooth and flavorful, and you’ll never go back to bottled “margarita mix” once you’ve tried my version! No matter which way you choose to serve yours, these margaritas are a great addition to any party!
