Whoopie pies seem to be everywhere these days. They are featured not only in bakeries across the country, but make it into the news and even have dedicated bakeware. Fortunately, you don’t need special equipment to bake these tasty desserts and introduce them to the one place you might not have seen them yet: your own home kitchen. I have some great whoopie pie recipes up on Baking Bites, including Banana Whoopie Pies and Salted Caramel Pumpkin Whoopie Pies, but today I’m giving away a copy of the cookbook Whoopie Pies. It’s a great little book that I’ve reviewed before, full of recipes classic and more contemporary whoopie pies, and mouthwatering photos to inspire you to bake!
To enter the contest, leave a comment with your favorite whoopie pie flavor below. It doesn’t have to be a flavor you’ve tried, either, so feel free to name any combination of cookie and cream filling that you can think of! I might even end up making some of the tastiest combinations into recipes for Baking Bites! The contest ends Sunday at midnight and the winner will be randomly selected from the entries. DonΓ’β¬β’t forget to fill in your e-mail on the comment form (it will not be public), as that is how I will contact the winner, and good luck!
Update: Contest is now closed. Congrats to Lauren of Sweet and Twisted on winning this giveaway!
