Peace of Cake Pan

Peace of Cake Pan

Filled cake pans have never really jumped out at me. The designs that feature bowl-like shapes, or hollowed out interiors, always looked like things I could reproduce myself with a spoon, or perhaps with a knife. The Peace of Cake pan caught my eye with its very cute name and the design really grew on me the more I looked at it. The pan is made of food-grade silicone in the shape of a peace sign, with indentations in the negative space of the symbol. A cake made in this shape can be frosted or served plain, and unlike with complex bundt pans, the nonstick silicone should allow the design to come out cleanly every time.

The cake is packaged in a box made of recycled materials and design company Fred will donate a portion of sales to charitable organizations “dedicated to peaceful resolution of conflict, justice for all, and respect for human rights.”
