Baking Bites for Craftsy: Chocolate Coffee Cake

Coffee cakes are one of my favorite things about brunch (though I will admit to enjoying leftover cupcakes from time to time with my coffee) and their crisp, streusel topping is one of their distinguishing characteristics. Coffee cakes occasionally include chocolate mix-ins, like chocolate chips, but they are rarely chocolate. My Chocolate Coffee Cake that is the ultimate brunch dish for coffee lovers and you can find the recipe over on the Craftsy blog (it’s free!!). The tender chocolate cake is studded with chocolate chips and topped with a buttery chocolate and cinnamon streusel, just in case the cake alone wasn’t enough. It’s delicious and easy to put together. And like most coffee cakes, it pairs absolutely perfectly with hot, freshly brewed coffee.

This cake turned out simply delicious !I used cream cheese for topping. It was moist, yet crumbly, and had a beautiful texture. A must try recipe, I’d to say!
