Baking Bites for Craftsy: Easy Danish Pastries, 3 Ways

Baking Bites for Craftsy: Easy Danish Pastries

Nothing says breakfast like a tempting spread of pastries and that is exactly what makes hotel buffets and other large-scale breakfasts so appealing. When it comes to danishes, though it is easy to make a tasty version of them at home, in a variety of different shapes, and take your next brunch from good to great! These danishes start with puff pastry, rather than a laminated danish dough, and you can use storebought to save some time. Over at the Craftsy blog (it’s free!), I’m sharing my techniques for making 3 Easy (But Impressive!) Danish Pastry Shapes, along with a recipe for a simple (but delicious) cream cheese filling that can be flavored in a variety of ways and works with all the pastry shapes.

The danishes only take a few minutes to put together and I have been known to make a few just for fun when I’m in the mood for a breakfast treat, but it is even better to make them for a big brunch when you can impress your friends and family with a variety of treats that look and taste so fantastic.
