Rodelle Holiday Spice Baking Gift Set Giveaway! (closed)

Rodelle Holiday Spice Baking Gift Set Giveaway!

I look forward to the holiday baking season every year. Even though I bake all year round, there are some holiday flavors – like peppermint mocha and eggnog – that I just love and only get to enjoy around the holidays! Whether you bake every day or only around the holidays, it is important to have your pantry well-stocked for the season and a Holiday Spice Baking Gift Pack from Rodelle is just what you need to get through all the baking you have to do for the rest of the season. The set includes Rodelle’s wonderful Wassail Mix, as well as pure vanilla extracts, cocoa powder and the biggest, most impressive cinnamon sticks you’ve ever seen. The cinnamon can be freshly ground using a microplane to add a potent cinnamon flavor to your baked goods or you can use them to garnish a punch bowl filled with homemade spiced cider or mulled wine, made using the wassail mix.

To enter the contest, just leave a comment on this post and tell me what your favorite thing to bake during the holidays  is. Do you stick with classic sugar cookies or go all-out with an elaborately decorated yule log? The contest ends Friday at midnight (12/11/2014) and one winner will be randomly selected from the entries. Don’t forget to fill in your e-mail on the comment form (it will not be made public), as that is how I will contact the winner, and good luck!

And try these recipes for some holiday baking inspiration!

Update: This giveaway is now closed. A winner will be announced shortly!

My favorite thing to bake during the holidays is dark chocolate pecan shortbread. So, yummy without being too sweet.

I made it with Rodelle’s baking cocoa last time. Totally upped my game! That stuff is great!

I make these chocolate chip cookies every year that come from a Pillsbury cookbook from 1968 – best cookies ever. This year I’d love to try my hand at baklava, it’s become a recent obsession.

We bake with eggnog because my husband absolutely loves the stuff. I make eggnog bread, eggnog cookies and eggnog cheesecake bars. I usually end up shareing most of it with many other people.
