Nordic Ware Twas Loaf Pan

Nordic Ware Twas the Night Loaf Pan
I’ve seen plenty of fun holiday baking pans over the years, but I have to admit that this ‘Twas the Night Before Loaf Pan from Nordic Ware has already made it close to the top of my list of favorites. The pan features an image of Santa in his sleigh, being pulled through a snowflake-filled backdrop by one of his reindeer. While many pans have a pattern or a character on them, few depict a whole scene the way that this one does!

The heavy duty cast aluminum pan has a nonstick interior to help ensure that every detail from the pan makes it onto your finished cake. As is usually the case with pans with many small details, I recommend greasing and flouring your pan just to be on the safe side. The pan measures 10×6 inches, which means that it can hold a little bit more batter than your standard loaf pan recipe, but that you can still bake your favorite recipes in the pan if you don’t mind them being a little bit thinner than usual when they come out of the oven. I recommend baking a pound cake, my Everyday Vanilla Cake or some other cake that doesn’t need frosting. Cakes baked in this pan will look the best unfrosted, so that you can clearly see the design before slicing.

Do I need to make 1 1/2 of the recipe for this loaf pan?

What do you think?
