I do a lot of entertaining during the holidays and find myself serving up brunch even more often than I do during other times of the year! This is largely because getting together earlier in the day means that I have more time – all afternoon, in fact – to spend with friends and visiting relatives, so I always start with brunch. Brunch isn’t the same without at least one or two baked goods on the menu and I usually include muffins and coffee cake. Over on the Craftsy blog (it’s free!!) I’m sharing my recipe for easy Sour Cream Coffee Cake, which will make a perfect addition to any brunch menu. The tender coffee cake is topped with a generous layer of cinnamon streusel and only takes a couple of minutes to put together – even the cleanup is easy!
It is a classic recipe that every streusel-lover out there will enjoy and you can never go wrong with this recipe. That said, you can also  dress this coffee cake up by stirring blueberries, cranberries or other goodies into the batter if you want to put your own (seasonal) spin on it.
