Baking Bites for Craftsy: Snickerdoodle Bars

Snickerdoodle Bars
Snickerdoodles are always a popular cookie in my kitchen. The cinnamon-topped sugar cookies appeal to just about everyone, from kids to adults. The cookies are typically made by rolling balls of cookie dough in a cinnamon-sugar mixture before baking, a process that gives the cookies their signature look and flavor. I whipped up a batch of Snickerdoodle Bar Cookies over on the Craftsy blog (it’s free!!) that streamline the process of baking this cookie classic by transforming the drop cookies into bar cookies that pack just as much flavor into each bite as the originals. When I’m pressed for time, bar cookies are a better choice than drop cookies because you don’t need to shape each cookie individually. The tender vanilla cookie bars have cinnamon on both the top and bottom, ensuring that you get that classic snickerdoodle taste in each bite.

Snickerdoodles don’t have to be flavored only with cinnamon, either. If you’re a snickerdoodle fan, give one of my other Snickerdoodle variations a try:
