Announcing My New Cookbook: Tiki Drinks: Tropical Cocktails for the Modern Bar

Tiki Drinks: Tropical Cocktails for the Modern Bar

Do you do any outdoor entertaining during the summer? Do you like to relax on a hot afternoon with a refreshing cocktail? If so, I have the perfect book to add to your collection: Tiki Drinks: Tropical Cocktails for the Modern Bar is my latest cookbook and it is loaded with refreshing tropical cocktails. The drinks are a mix of completely original cocktail recipes and updates of tiki classics. And when I say “tiki classics,” I am talking about drinks that date back to the early 1930s and 1940s, when the first tiki bars – Don the Beachcomber and Trader Vic’s – were opened in California. These definitely aren’t the sugary-sweet blended drinks of the 1970s. Instead of premade mixers, the drinks are all made with fresh ingredients, quality spirits and a lot of attention to detail.

The official release date is June 3rd, which is only a few weeks away. If you preorder from your local booksellers, they’ll be sure to have the book in stock for you to pick up. If you preorder from an online retailer, like Amazon, you’ll benefit from a great pre-order discount price! You can find the book at the following retailers:

Stay tuned for more information as we get closer to the publication date. And for more tiki recipes and inspiration in the meantime, head over to Modern Tiki, a new blog I set up in conjunction with the release of the book. that is all about tropical cocktails and rum.
