Black and orange are the official colors of Halloween, and being generous with them when you’re decorating cakes and cupcakes is a good way to turn an ordinary cake into one that is perfect for a spooky celebration! Lately, I’ve been making quite a few ombre cakes, but black and orange contrast a little too much to use that exact technique for frosting a cake. To give a cake a Halloween look, try using a dramatic striped patter instead.  I recently became a contributor to the Craftsy blog, and on it I’m sharing a post that will teach you to recreate this Black and Orange Striped Halloween Cake design at home. Check out the full tutorial and you’ll be serving up this showstopping cake in no time!
