Sign up for ‘Build A Better Food Blog’, a Baking Bites Workshop!

New School Catalog

Calling all Los Angeles area foodies – have you signed up for my food blogging workshop yet? If you are a food blogger or thinking about starting your own blog, you should definitely attend Build a Better Food Blog. The class is going to be held on October 4th from 7-10 pm at the New School of Cooking in Culver City.

The workshop is designed to give you some insight into how to start up and run a successful food blog, whether you want to do it as a hobby or hope to transition to food writing full time. I started blogging in 2004, when there weren’t that many resources out there to push you in the right direction, and I want to be able to share what I’ve learned along the way with you!

We’ll focus on content development – because readers are looking to find out who you are when they read your blog and want to hear your unique voice – and can touch on recipe development if anyone is interested in that. We’ll also talk about marketing, social networks and how to build up your readership, as well as other related topics. Bring your specific questions (there are no silly questions) and I will be more than happy to help get them answered. We’ll have snacks and champagne to enjoy during the class, too.

Visit the NSC catalog to sign up for the class and to read the full course description.

I wish this were in SF so I could attend! This type of workshop is exactly what I’ve been looking for my own blog. Next time!

Shikha don’t worry I’ll put in a word to Nicole to create an online program 😉
