Not sure what to get Mom for Mother’s Day? A copy of Small Batch Baking for Chocolate Lovers might be just the thing. This cookbook features 150 chocolate recipes that have all been scaled down to meet the needs (and treat the tastebuds) of bakers who don’t need 4 dozen cookies or a whole 9-inch layer cake every time they want to bake something. Most recipes make just two or four servings – and without sacrificing any of the flavor or quality that you’d find in a full-sized dessert. I reviewed this book recently and now I’m giving away a copy of Small Batch Baking for Chocolate Lovers. If you win, you can give the book to Mom for Mother’s Day or keep the book for yourself and use it to bake a chocolatey treat.

Molten Lava Chocolate Cake!
My current favorite chocolate dessert is a chocolate cupcake with chocolate ganache topping and filling. A close second is double chocolate gooey butter cake.
A good dark chocolate layer cake with a very moist but light crumb. Whipped chocolate frosting between the layers and a thick, dark chocolate ganache around the whole thing couldn’t possibly hurt, either!
When I was younger, it was dirt cake with gummy worms! Now that I’m older though, I would say the black bottom cupcakes that you posted in this blog…I made them for Easter…pretty sure my whole family agrees with me! =)
My favorite chocolate dessert is flourless chocolate torte. I could happily be buried in it and eat my way out!

My mom makes a dessert called “Chocolate Fluff” it’s a combination of chocolate mousse and brownie pieces. Yum! Add some strawberries on top!

My favorite chocolate dessert is this chocolate, double layer cake with chocolate icing from a place near my home called Country Cupboard. It has to have white filling and white piping. I get it every year for my birthday. My husband still has a hard time remembering the specifics when he orders it for me.
He’ll get it right eventually.

I do like a really rich flour-less chocolate cake frosted with a thin coat of fudgy ganache with a big dollop of whipped cream topped with chocolate shavings!

My favorite chocolate dessert is probably the hardest question to answer. I was going to go with a good old chocolate chip cookie. But then I decided that any kind of pie with chocolate in it would win.
