Nomskulls Cupcake Molds

When it comes to baking, there are some things that you can do with silicone that you just can’t quite do with other materials. One of those things is creating nifty cupcake molds in unusual shapes, like these cute and spooky Nomskulls Cupcake Molds. The silicone cups look like skulls with their tops cut off – creating the perfect cavity for baking a cupcake. The molds will stand on their own, so all you need to do is set them on a baking sheet. You can use any kind of frosting you like, but pink or grey tints will give it a really brainy look when you pipe it on top to serve up a spooky Halloween treat. You can also go more festive in your decorations and end up with a Day of the Dead cupcake!
The bad news here is that these are only sold in a set of four and you really need to serve them right out of their skulls – although you could turn them out easily and the cakes wouldn’t stick – to get the maximum impact when serving. Just chalk it up to Halloween party decorations and think about getting an extra package, then supplement these centerpiece cupcakes with regular cupcakes with the same brain topping.
