Trongs

Trongs

Trongs probably won’t become the next spork, despite the strangely catchy name, but they are an interesting little foodie accessory that fills a little gap in the food world. Trongs are the “world’s first fully functional finger-food utensil.” They are alien-like three-pronged finger covers made of flexible plastic. You slip your thumb and first two fingers inside the pockets of the trong and use it to grip what would otherwise be messy finger food: hot wings, ribs, etc. The nice thing about trongs is that it is easy to slip your fingers in and out of them, so you can easily answer your cell phone or pick up a glass of water without getting slippery sauce all over everything.
