In the mood for ice cream despite the unseasonably cold weather and storms hitting much of the country? As long as you’re willing to venture outside this afternoon, be sure to stop by a Ben & Jerry’s because it is Free Cone Day there. Between 12pm and 8pm today, participating locations will be giving out free single-scoopice cream cones to everyone who comes in.
The event has been going on since 1979 and began as a staff appreciation event on the 1 year anniversary of the first ice cream parlor’s opening.
